Lucy Rekert

I'm a pretty overall creative person. I'm an illustrator, painter and DJ. I run a female and/or queer club night in Bristol. I love making hard hitting, humorous, tongue and cheek work that depicts very real, very emotive subject matters in humorous and light hearted ways. My main common, reoccurring theme is definitely female politics and gender roles. I just want to make art that makes me feel good, and allows me to express my emotions. Knowing people like it as well is obviously a massive bonus!
